Process Design Engineer (Water/Wastewater Treatment)

About the position

Key Responsibilities

• Apply a sound knowledge of water and wastewater treatment technologies to provide technical support to
• Prepare feasibility studies, implementation-readiness studies, technical reports, proposals, and O&M manuals for water and wastewater treatment projects.
• Perform complex engineering designs and hydraulic analysis of bulk water and sewage infrastructure systems and prepare technical specifications and drawings.
• Conducting plant (process) audits, troubleshoot plant operations, and identify opportunities for performance improvements.
• Extensive experience in mechanical, electrical, control & instrumentation engineering, related to water and wastewater
• Lead design phases, manage contracts, and maintain communication with Clients throughout project life

Key Requirements

• BSc/BEng in Process Engineering
• Professional registration (ECSA).
• Minimum 8-10 years' experience in process design / modelling for water and wastewater treatment
• Proven track record in water treatment plants, wastewater treatment plants, bulk water supply systems, pipeline conveyance, pump stations, and reticulation design.
• Strong design capabilities and advanced computer and analysis software skills with the following:
• EnviroSim BioWin or similar wastewater process modelling software (Essential)
• HECRAS
• EPANET / PCSWMM
• AutoCAD Civil 3D
• Revit 3D
• KYPIPE Surge Analysis
