About the position
Key Responsibilities
- Apply a sound knowledge of water and wastewater treatment technologies to provide technical support to
- Prepare feasibility studies, implementation-readiness studies, technical reports, proposals, and O&M manuals for water and wastewater treatment projects.
- Perform complex engineering designs and hydraulic analysis of bulk water and sewage infrastructure systems and prepare technical specifications and drawings.
- Conducting plant (process) audits, troubleshoot plant operations, and identify opportunities for performance improvements.
- Extensive experience in mechanical, electrical, control & instrumentation engineering, related to water and wastewater
- Lead design phases, manage contracts, and maintain communication with Clients throughout project life
Key Requirements
- BSc/BEng in Process Engineering
- Professional registration (ECSA).
- Minimum 8-10 years' experience in process design / modelling for water and wastewater treatment
- Proven track record in water treatment plants, wastewater treatment plants, bulk water supply systems, pipeline conveyance, pump stations, and reticulation design.
- Strong design capabilities and advanced computer and analysis software skills with the following:
- EnviroSim BioWin or similar wastewater process modelling software (Essential)
- HECRAS
- EPANET / PCSWMM
- AutoCAD Civil 3D
- Revit 3D
- KYPIPE Surge Analysis
