Company Location UTCL is located along the Kampala Jinja highway near Lugazi municipal council in Buikwe district approximately 48 kilometers from Kampala City and 40 Kilometers from Jinja opposite Mt ST Mary’s College Namagunga. Company Main Activities The company mainly deals in the production of tea where 80% of the sales are for the international market and the local market 20%. Made Tea is exported to Mombasa in Kenya to the Auction market with other tea companies around East Africa and sold thereafter. The company also deals with other activities which include afforestation, coffee, cocoa and Bananas. UTCL produces over 3.5 million kilos of tea annually 10% of Uganda’s national output Key Responsibilities Service, maintain, and repair company motor vehicles and light trucks. Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and engine faults and carry out corrective repairs. Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure vehicle reliability. Maintain accurate records of repairs, servicing, and spare parts used. Ensure compliance with safety standards and proper workshop practices. Advise management on vehicle condition and maintenance requirements Qualifications: Certificate or Diploma in Automotive Mechanics or a related field. Proven experience in motor vehicle maintenance and repair. Ability to diagnose engine, transmission, braking, and electrical systems. Knowledge of vehicle safety standards and workshop procedures.
