Chargeback Manager
Description
BettingJobsis working with an iGaming operator. They are looking for aChargeback Managerto join their team based remotely in Asia. Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee the end-to-end chargeback process across all payment providers
- Develop and implement chargeback prevention strategies to reduce dispute ratios
- Analyze chargeback trends, root causes, and fraud patterns to inform business decisions
- Prepare and submit compelling representment cases to maximize recovery rates
- Maintain compliance with card scheme regulations (Visa, Mastercard, etc.) and local regulatory requirements
- Collaborate with Payments, Fraud, Compliance, and Customer Support teams to improve processes
- Monitor key KPIs such as chargeback ratio, win rate, and financial exposure
- Manage relationships with PSPs, acquirers, and third-party fraud/chargeback tools
- Lead and develop internal processes, documentation, and reporting frameworks
- Train internal teams on best practices related to disputes and fraud prevention Requirements:
- Proven experience in chargeback management within iGaming, payments, fintech, or e-commerce
- Strong understanding of card scheme rules and dispute processes
- Experience working with PSPs, acquirers, and fraud prevention tools
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and identify trends
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities
- Experience with chargeback platforms (e.g., Ethoca, Verifi, or similar) is a plus
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment Nice to have:
- Knowledge of AML and fraud prevention frameworks
- SQL, Excel, or data analysis skills
- Previous experience managing or mentoring team members
