About the Assignment

You will join a product-focused environment within the automotive sector where digital services are a core part of the customer experience. The team works with connected vehicle services that let users interact with their cars remotely and enable integrations for areas such as smart charging and fleet management.

In this role, you will help build the next generation of cloud backend services for remote vehicle functions. You will work close to both the product and the technology, in an agile team that uses modern cloud-native tools and microservices to create reliable services at scale.

You will be part of a highly skilled team where you can learn continuously, contribute your ideas, and gradually broaden your experience into adjacent areas such as mobile applications and embedded systems. Job Description

• You will design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain cloud backend services for remote vehicle functions.
• You will work with Java and Spring Boot in a microservices-based architecture.
• You will collaborate closely with your agile team to improve solutions, code quality, and ways of working.
• You will help build services that interact with vehicles in the cloud and support customer-facing connected experiences.
• You will use modern development and operations tooling in your daily work, including containerized and orchestrated environments.
• You will have the chance to explore related system areas over time, including mobile applications and embedded systems.

Requirements

• You are at the beginning of your backend career, with less than five years of relevant experience.
• You are fluent in Java programming.
• You have experience in cloud backend development.
• You have knowledge of AWS or Azure.
• You have experience with Spring Boot and microservices.
• You have experience with SQL databases, for example Postgres or Cassandra.
• You have experience with Kubernetes.
• You have experience with Docker.
• You are familiar with Git and Jira.
• You have a valid driving license in Sweden for car.
• You are fluent in English, both spoken and written.

Nice to have

• Experience with gRPC or REST.
• Experience with Grafana or PagerDuty.
• Experience with Kafka.
• Experience with MQTT.
• Experience with Postman.
