About the Assignment
You will step into a key role at a company in the automotive industry where pricing, product cost, and commercial decisions need to be backed by solid financial logic. Working closely with sales, procurement, engineering, and senior stakeholders, you will help turn complex cost structures into clear business guidance that supports negotiations and profitable growth.

Job Description
- You act as the main financial partner to the sales organization and provide clear recommendations on cost, pricing, and profitability.
- You support account managers in customer discussions with data-driven arguments around cost logic, margin impact, and commercial positioning.
- You prepare pricing options, business cases, and financial simulations that guide negotiation strategies and decision-making.
- You own cost structures and margin analysis for assigned product areas, and identify cost risks and financial gaps.
- You assess customer opportunities and investments, and contribute with go or no-go recommendations based on financial viability and long-term profitability.
- You work closely with procurement and engineering to evaluate supplier quotations and understand the financial impact of design changes.
- You help improve costing tools and commercial finance processes to strengthen quality, transparency, and efficiency.
Requirements
- 4–8 years of experience in commercial controlling, product costing, or financial analysis within the automotive industry or other complex manufacturing sectors.
- Strong financial modeling capabilities.
- Expert-level proficiency in Excel.
- Solid understanding of manufacturing cost structures and industrial production processes.
- Ability to translate complex financial data into clear, actionable insights for commercial stakeholders and management.
- A self-starting mindset and ability to deliver results in a fast-paced, international environment.
Nice to have
- Experience with BI tools.
- Experience with TcPCM (Teamcenter Product Cost Management) or similar costing databases.
