and We are responsible for the financial engine of the company: processing loan repayments and managing massive fund transfers to car dealerships. You will work on highly critical, high-volume systems where accuracy, reliability, and performance are absolute musts. We embrace modern development practices. Our engineering team actively leverages Agentic AI tools and AI-assisted IDEs to enhance our daily workflows, accelerate coding, and focus on solving complex architectural challenges. As a Backend Engineer on the Charges Team, you will: Develop and maintain critical backend services for our payments charges infrastructure. Integrate with complex external financial APIs and banking systems to facilitate secure money transfers. Design and build robust architecture to handle high-volume financial transactions with zero tolerance for data loss. Write clean, well-tested code to ensure the highest level of system reliability. Leverage AI coding assistants to boost productivity, while maintaining strict code quality, security, and critical review standards. Collaborate closely with Product, Operations, Finance, and other engineering teams to release features that impact thousands of happy customers and partners.Requirements: 2-4 years of hands-on experience in backend development. Strong programming skills, with expertise in Python. Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field (Preference for top-tier universities). Deep understanding and proven experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL or equivalent). Experience deg and integrating with APIs (RESTful services). A "quality-first" mindset: Strong understanding of testing methodologies and writing code for highly sensitive/critical systems. Tech-savvy and adaptable: Experience or a strong desire to incorporate AI dev tools into your daily workflow, combined with the critical thinking needed to review and validate AI-generated code. Independent, proactive, with great interpersonal skills. Nice-to-Have: Previous experience in Fintech, billing, or payment systems. Experience working with microservices architecture.
