Workers Compensation Specialist
Description
We are seeking a Workers’ Compensation Specialist with experience in legal, medical, and insurance-related claims, particularly involving workplace injuries. This role supports the end-to-end workers’ compensation process, coordinating between injured workers, medical providers, insurance carriers, and legal teams.
Responsibilities:
Handle Workers’ Compensation cases from intake through resolution
Collect, review, and organize medical records and injury documentation
Communicate with injured workers, medical providers, insurance carriers, and legal teams
Assist with claims filing, follow-ups, denials, and appeals
Track case progress, deadlines, and required documentation
Maintain accurate and confidential case records
Support attorneys or case managers with WC-related documentation and updates
Ensure compliance with Workers’ Compensation laws and procedures
Qualifications:
Experience in Workers’ Compensation, personal injury, insurance claims, or medical-legal support
Strong understanding of medical and legal workflows related to injury claims
Ability to manage multiple cases with attention to detail
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Comfortable handling confidential and sensitive information
Experience working with law firms, insurance companies, or medical providers
Familiarity with WC claims systems or case management tools
