MVP Goal

Functional prototype (wearable + app + backend) capturing real-time physiological data, basic AI processing, Metabolic Score (0–100) + actionable trends. Simple time-series data only (no vectors/embeddings to keep costs low).

Required Candidate

Senior or Strong Mid-Senior (4–5+ years proven).

Real wearables/healthtech experience (ble, ppg/hrv sensors, polar-like integration).

Portfolio: Flutter + BLE + backend (FastAPI or similar).

Examples of real-time graphs, push alerts, hardware apps.

Tech Stack

App: Flutter (iOS/Android + Web bonus)

Backend: FastAPI (Python)

DB: Supabase (free tier) or AWS Lightsail/Google Cloud Run (promo credits)

AI: Scikit-learn/TensorFlow Lite (basic)

Integration: BLE

No vectors in MVP (scalar time-series only)

Requirements

Hardware: PPG multi-wavelength (MAX30102 equiv) + 1–2 NIR LEDs. Capture hr, hrv, spo2, temp, spectral signal. Mandatory Polar Verity Sense integration via SDK.

Mobile App: Main screen with Metabolic Score + Purple/Orange/Red zones. Real-time graphs (HRV, temp, trend). Push alerts (e.g. “Recovery delayed 3 days”). Simple twin preview (“Body responding as if ate X”). 7-day history +.

Web Bonus: Browser dashboard (Flutter Web).

Backend + AI: Real-time API. Simple model for trends/alerts. Time-series storage (no vectors).

Acceptance Criteria

App crash-free, data <5s.

Score/trends/alerts/Purple-Orange-Red zones work with real data.

Low hosting cost (free tier/promo).

Clean code + README.

Bonus

Exact delivery on time → strong chance of ongoing Tech Lead contract for full project.
