Virtual Assistant — Social Media Account Audit, Setup & Basic Graphics (Latin America)

I'm looking for a detail-oriented VA based in Latin America to audit, set up, and manage business social media accounts across multiple platforms for multiple brands. All accounts are business/brand pages — not personal. This includes creating basic profile graphics in Canva or similar. This is a trial project — strong performance leads to ongoing work.

The Project

Group 1: Audit Existing Accounts (Approximately 7 Brands)

  • Verify all existing business social media accounts are active and credentials (account names, passwords, URLs) are correct. Document current state of each account

  • For 2 of these brands: fully build out profiles with updated data, images, text, and settings — these go live. I provide content and images; you resize for platform requirements

  • For the remaining brands: confirm active, confirm not publicly visible, identify and create any missing channels. Keep not-public

Group 2: Acquire New Accounts (Approximately 20–25 Brands)

  • Register new business accounts on Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, X, TikTok, and potentially others. I provide the account names

  • Keep all unpublished — goal is to secure names only. These get built out later

  • For 2 of these new brands: fully build out profiles and go live. I provide text; you create original images from brand guidelines I provide (colors, logos, taglines, positioning). This tests your graphic skills for future work

Basic Graphic Creation

  • Create profile images, cover photos, and banners using Canva or a similar design tool

  • For the 2 existing brands going live: I will provide images and content; you will resize and optimize images for each platform's requirements

  • For the 2 new brands going live: I will provide brand guidelines (colors, logos, taglines, positioning, and image direction); you will create original profile images, cover photos, and banners based on those specifications

  • All graphics must be submitted for my review and approval before being applied to any account

  • You must be able to edit, resize, and optimize images for different platforms and profile types

  • I retain full ownership of all images created. You will provide me with all master/source files (original resolution, editable format) as well as all platform-specific versions. All files must be organized by brand and platform

How Delivery Works

I will provide a platform-specific checklist for each account type (e.g., Profile image, cover photo, page name, username, about section, website, category, CTA button, contact info). For each item, you confirm it's complete or document the issue that prevented completion.

Important Details

  • Some accounts will require phone or email verification. I will handle verification codes in real time via Slack or WhatsApp

  • I will provide the exact account names and usernames to use for each brand and platform. If a requested name is unavailable, notify me immediately rather than choosing an alternative on your own

  • All accounts will be tied to my contact information — not yours

  • I will provide credentials through a secure password manager

  • For brands being built out, I will provide relevant brand materials (logos, images, taglines, slogans, colors, and positioning)

What I'm Looking For

  • Strong attention to detail — follow instructions exactly as given, and notify me immediately if something is unclear rather than making assumptions

  • Proficiency in Canva or a similar graphic design/editing tool — you must be able to create, edit, and resize images for different social media platforms

  • Clear, specific written communication in English. When you finish a task, I need to know exactly what you did, not a vague summary

  • Experience setting up business pages and brand accounts (not personal accounts) across multiple social media platforms

  • Knowledge of platform-specific image requirements (dimensions, file sizes, aspect ratios)

  • Some overlapping working hours in US time zones for real-time coordination

Hours & Budget

  • Estimated scope: 15–20 hours total for all audit, acquisition, buildout, and image work described above

  • Hourly rate: $8–$15/hour depending on experience

  • This is a trial project. Strong performance and communication will lead to ongoing work including content formatting, social media scheduling, and additional administrative support

  • Looking to start immediately
