We are a U.S.-Based immigration law firm seeking talented and detail-oriented bilingual (English/Spanish) Colombian licensed attorneys to join our team as remote legal assistants. This is a long-term, full-time opportunity to work with a collaborative legal team focused on helping individuals and families navigate the U.S. Immigration system.

Es una oportunidad a largo plazo y a tiempo completo para trabajar con un equipo legal colaborativo enfocado en ayudar a personas y familias con sus trámites migratorios en EE. UU.
Key Responsibilities / Responsabilidades Principales
o Prepare immigration forms, petitions, and supporting documents
o Draft client communications and legal correspondence
o Manage case files and track deadlines
o Conduct legal research related to U.S. Immigration law
o Collaborate with U.S. Attorneys and paralegals
o Compile documents for submission to appropriate U.S. Immigration agencies
o Preparar formularios migratorios, peticiones y documentos de respaldo
o Redactar comunicaciones con clientes y correspondencia legal
o Administrar archivos de casos y dar seguimiento a fechas límite
o Realizar investigaciones legales sobre leyes de inmigración de EE. UU.
O Colaborar con abogados y asistentes legales en EE. UU.
O Compilar documentos para la entrega a la agencia de inmigracion
Requirements / Requisitos
o Licensed attorney in Colombia (required)
o Excellent written and verbal communication in English and Spanish (C1 level required)
o Minimum one year of experience in a legal role.
O Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
o Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
o Reliable internet connection and professional remote work environment
o Proficient in Microsoft Products, Share Point, Google Docs and Adobe Acrobat
o Abogado(a) con tarjeta profesional vigente en Colombia (requisito)
o Excelente comunicación escrita y oral en inglés y español
o Minimo 1 año de experiencia en el ambito legal.
O Alta atención al detalle y habilidades organizativas
o Capacidad para trabajar de manera autónoma y cumplir con plazos
o Conexión a internet confiable y espacio profesional para trabajo remoto
Preferred (but not required) / Deseable (pero no obligatorio)
o Previous experience in U.S. Immigration law
o Experience working with U.S.-Based legal teams
o Experience with Case Management Systems (Docketwise, Clio, etc.)
o Experiencia previa en derecho migratorio estadounidense
o Experiencia trabajando con equipos legales en EE. UU.
O Experiencia con sistemas de Manejo de Casos (Docketwise, Clio, etc.)
