Are you a Quality Assurance professional with a passion for leadership and a holistic view of software excellence? We are looking for a QA Lead to drive quality and innovation for our client’s major IT development project in the Kuopio-Iisalmi-Kajaani region.

The Mission

As the QA Lead, you will be the cornerstone of quality for the implementation of new CAD and PLM systems. You won’t just be "checking boxes"—you will be integrating quality into the very DNA of the development process, ensuring that the final product meets high business standards and technical excellence.

Your Role & Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership: Act as the holistic voice of quality, integrating QA practices into the entire development lifecycle.

Process Innovation: Implement continuous release practices and navigate CI/CD pipelines with ease.

Mentorship & Coaching: Provide consultancy, instructions, and training to project teams, fostering a culture of quality.

Risk Management: Proactively identify and manage risks from a quality perspective.

Automation Steering: Guide the development of necessary test automation within the project team.

What We Are Looking For

Proven Track Record: At least 3 years of experience in QA Lead or Test Management roles.

Agile Mindset: Deep understanding of agile QA frameworks and methods.

Technical Familiarity: Experience with CAD and PLM systems is a significant plus.

Future-Oriented: Experience using AI in Quality Assurance is considered a distinct advantage.

Communication: Excellent interpersonal and coaching skills in both Finnish and English.

Adaptability: A proactive problem-solver who thrives in rapidly changing environments.

Project Details

Timeline: March 2026

• End of 2026.

Allocation: 50% for Q2-2026 (continuation reviewed quarterly; forecast remains at ~50%).

Location: Customer values face-to-face collaboration. Preference is given to candidates located in or able to travel to the Kuopio-Iisalmi-Kajaani area for frequent on-site work.
