Hybrid setup can be considered, with periodic on-site presence at the client’s facilities.Language: Norwegian or EnglishDescriptionAn industrial technology company is seeking several senior electronics consultants. The assignments involves strengthening the technical quality of advanced electronic control and communication solutions and preparing the design for industrial production. The consultant will work closely with an established development team throughout the final stages of product maturation toward series production.Work responsibilitiesTechnical review and quality assurance of existing electronic designs (PCB)Hardware troubleshooting and support during verification and testingDesign optimization with focus on performance, robustness, EMC, and manufacturabilitySupport in production readiness, including DFM/DFA activitiesDevelopment of Production Test Requirements (PTR) for EMSClose collaboration with internal engineering teams and project managementDocumentation of findings, recommendations, and implemented improvementsRequired expertise - Role 1:Experience in BLDC motor driver designExperience with Ethernet PHY integration, especially Single Pair Ethernet (IEEE 802.3cg).Knowledge of PoDL power delivery and related safety/protection circuits.Proficiency in PCB design tools (Altium) and simulation tools (SPICE, thermal analysis).Familiarity with EMC compliance, signal integrity, and power integrity best practices.Required expertise - Role 2:Experience in electronics design and validation for industrial or automotive applications.Experience / Knowledge MCU-based systems, motor drivers, and communication interfaces (CAN, Ethernet, SPI, I2C).Experience with Single Pair Ethernet (SpE) and Power over Data Line (PoDL) integration.Familiarity with EMC compliance, signal integrity, and power integrity best practices.Proficiency in PCB design tools (Altium) and simulation tools.Experience with production test strategy and EMS collaboration.Send your CV to inquiries@consultant.dev if interested!
