We are looking for a Prepress Technician for an assignment to a client in Stockholm.
Objective of the Assignment
Actively contribute to the execution of a packaging deployment project by supporting the Packaging Execution Team in the role of Prepress Technician / Final Art.
Main Areas of Responsibility
Responsible for developing and reviewing packaging artworks (Good-To-Prints) and related content to ensure full compliance with quality standards, customer requirements, and departmental objectives.
This includes verifying that all Good-To-Prints meet printing, production, and regulatory specifications, ensuring technical feasibility and minimizing risk. The role also involves providing technical expertise to the team and ensuring correct application of prepress standards throughout the entire process.
Key responsibilities include:
Packaging artwork development (Good-To-Print) and review
Verification of printing requirements and technical feasibility across all documentation
Providing technical expertise and ensuring adherence to prepress standards
Experience in packaging development and artwork creation, with strong attention to detail. Professional expertise in prepress and graphic production processes, ensuring compliance with printing and packaging standards. Experience with automation solutions and programm[i]ng is considered an advantage.
Completed upper secondary education. A college or university degree in a relevant field — such as packaging design or an equivalent discipline — is desirable and may be ongoing. Technical coursework in graphic arts or computer science is also preferred.
Fluency in Swedish and English, both written and spoken.
Competencies and Experience
A minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Prepress Technician or Final Art Specialist within the prepress or printing industry. Experience from Operations and Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) is preferred. Packaging experience should include structural design, graphic design, artwork creation, prepress, printing, and converting processes.
