Uppdrag 51707 MySQL Consultant

The client requires a MySQL Consultant for the Single Digital Gateway (SDG) assignment. The assignment is new and includes, but is not limited to, the following:

Development of requirements analysis and MySQL architecture (linked to Domibus)

Initial setup, configuration and up[g]rading of MySQL databases across multiple environments (production and OpenShift)

Capacity and performance recommendations

Ensuring backup and restore management, including testing

Logging, audit logs, alerts and monitoring

Securing the database (roles and permissions, encryption, certificates, etc.)

Troubleshooting issues such as performance problems and operational incidents

Development of operational and maintenance documentation

Knowledge transfer to the DevSecOps team

Support during production deployment

Scope: 1 consultant, 100% full-time (40 hours/week) for the duration of the contract.

Mandatory Requirements

Security Protection Agreement level 3, with the consultant classified at Security Class 2

Approved security clearance (including checks by the Swedish Security Service, Säpo)

Delivery of consultancy services must take place within Sweden

Client’s equipment must be used

Completed and certified background checks

All documentation and CVs must be written in Swedish

Competence Requirements

• MySQL

Have a minimum of 3 years’ experience in operating MySQL in business-critical systems

Have strong knowledge of:

Backup and restore procedures (including verification)

Securing MySQL databases

Capacity and performance management

Troubleshooting MySQL

Desirable Requirements

Have solid experience in setting up databases in OpenShift/Kubernetes, including:

Persistent Volumes (PVCs)

Backup in containerised environments

Have solid experience in alerts, monitoring and database observability, for example using:

Competence Level: Minimum competence level 3 (4–8 years of experience, high degree of independence, ability to lead a sub-area)

Language Requirements: Fluency in Swedish and English, both written and spoken
