Uppdrag 51453 Test Lead

You will play a critical role in ensuring the quality of data platforms and business logic that support our mission to detect and prevent financial crime. This includes testing cloud-native pipelines, rule engines, and end-to-end data workflows across the Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

This role goes beyond traditional testing. You"ll guide teams, shape QA strategies, and collaborate closely with developers and requirement engineers to align testing with business goals and regulatory compliance.

You will also take ownership of testing rule-based engines, which form the core of decision-making in financial crime detection systems.

• Define and evolve Test Plans, Test Environments, Integration Checklists, and Regression Test Suites

• Lead ETL and data validation testing in GCP using tools like BigQuery, Dataflow, and Pub/Sub

• Test rule-based engines and complex business logic used in financial crime detection

• Develop automated test cases using Python and Java (PyTest, JUnit, TestNG, etc.)

• Ensure quality across APIs, data transformations, and real-time streaming processes

• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines via Cloud Build, Git, or GCP DevOps

• Work closely with SW developers, Business Analysts, and architects in agile teams

• Guide testing best practices, mentor others, and support exploratory and compliance testing activities

Who we"re looking for

• Minimum 8 - 10 years of experience in testing data-driven systems or enterprise QA roles

• Strong knowledge of Python, Java, and SQL for test development and data validation

• Hands-on experience with GCP and tools like BigQuery, Bigtable, and Composer

• Familiarity with ETL testing, data modeling, and data lineage validation

• Understanding of rule-based engines (e.g., decision tables, or similar)

• Strong system-thinking and ability to align QA with business and compliance requirements

• Excellent documentation and collaboration skills in agile environments

• B.Sc., M.Sc., or Ph.D., and experience from a Complex software system.
