About the role

As our Customer Lifecycle Communications Specialist, you’ll be essential in helping customers achieve outcomes, increase product adoption, and realize value throughout their journey with TestGorilla.

This role focuses on owning customer-facing lifecycle communications and education, including email, in-app messaging, and help center content. You’ll use AI-generated content, behavioral signals, and data-driven insights to deliver timely, relevant messaging that supports onboarding, adoption, retention, and renewal readiness.

You’ll partner closely with the Customer Journey Orchestrator and Customer Success Operations to ensure lifecycle messaging aligns with automated journeys and customer behavior, while maintaining high-quality, outcome-focused communication at scale.

Responsibilities

In this role, your responsibilities will include but not limited to:

  • Collaborate cross-functionally in a global, remote-first environment, partnering with the Senior Customer Journey Specialist, CS Ops, and other teams while upholding TestGorilla behaviors and fostering an inclusive, supportive culture.

  • Own end-to-end lifecycle communications across onboarding, activation, adoption, and renewal readiness, partnering closely with the Customer Journey Orchestrator to align messaging with journey stages and behavioral flows.

  • Design, execute, and optimize AI-driven lifecycle campaigns across email, in-app messaging, and the help center, delivering outcome-based nudges, prompts, and triggers.

  • Coordinate product communications and customer education, including release notes, in-app announcements, knowledge base content, how-to guides, walkthroughs, video tutorials, and best practices.

  • Lead multi-channel retention and adoption programs, using predictive CS Ops insights such as health, risk, and usage signals to personalize customer communications.

  • Measure and optimize lifecycle performance using metrics such as activation rates, feature uptake, task completion, reduced friction, time-to-value, and customer storytelling impact through case studies, testimonials, and community content.
