Ready for your next chapter? We’re looking for a Mobile app developer to join the team in either Sweden or Denmark. This role could be based either in Sweden or Denmark.

This is a key role within our development team and a fantastic opportunity to gain significant experience working on a market-leading app with a modern tech stack**.** We have our beautiful office in Stockholm and Copenhagen which you are very encouraged to go to and work from and meet your colleagues. You will shape the experience for millions of listeners and readers. You will be instrumental in developing new, exciting features and enhancing the existing functionality of our core Android app, as well as having the opportunity to contribute to our iOS app, ensuring our users have the best possible journey into the world of stories.

Your responsibilities will include:

Developing new features and improving existing mobile applications.

Writing clean, maintainable, and testable code.

Collaborating with product managers, designers, and other engineers to bring ideas to life.

Contributing to the continuous improvement of our development processes and codebase.

You will be joining our dedicated Mobile team, where we are a collaborative group of 12 individuals with diverse backgrounds and experiences. As a remote-friendly team, we are spread out across various locations in Sweden and Denmark, and with a good virtual collaboration.

Our team’s core purpose is to build a world-class Android and iOS applications defined by high stability, strong performance, and delightful features. While you’ll work in close partnership with Product Managers and Designers, we always keep our ultimate stakeholder in mind: our customers.

To be successful in this role, we believe that you have:

Professional experience developing Android applications.
