Key Responsibilities:
Own the full lifecycle of the Event Streaming service built on Apache Kafka, from design and onboarding to operations and continual improvement.
Define the long-term direction, vision and tactical roadmap for the service, setting standards for operational efficiency, compliance and user satisfaction.
Engage closely with suppliers and technical teams to optimize delivery and expand service capabilities.
Align service strategy and operations with both internal and external stakeholders.
Define and manage service requirements and specifications, ensuring a robust, resilient and secure architecture in collaboration with technical architects.
Refine operational excellence, automate lifecycle management, and enhance monitoring, logging and dashboards.
Guide development teams on best practices for event streaming, expand self-service and support teams in maximizing value from the Kafka platform.
