Experteer Overview As a Principal AI/ML Research Engineer at King, you will push the boundaries of ML to generate tangible business value. You join AI Labs within the AI Center of Excellence, collaborating with researchers, ML engineers, and data scientists to advance game and business applications. You’ll research, prototype, and implement state-of-the-art methods to improve automation, player experience, and AI trustworthiness at scale. This role offers exposure to vast data and impactful, long-term research that shapes our games and technology. You will work in a collaborative, learning-focused environment with a clear impact on the company’s mission to make the world playful. Compensation / Benefits • research, prototype, and implement ML solutions to advance games and business applications • collaborate with Research Engineers, ML Engineers, and Data Scientists to support central ML initiatives • explore state-of-the-art ML methods including deep networks, generative models, self-supervised learning and traditional ML • address automation at scale for game content and player experience optimization, and AI trustworthiness • contribute to applied ML research projects with a focus on practical deployment and business value Tasks • 5+ years of post-graduate academic or industrial experience in ML/AI • proven research track record in Computer Science, Mathematics, ML, AI, Data Science, or related fields • mentoring or supervision experience • proficiency with TensorFlow, PyTorch, Keras or similar frameworks • experience applying ML in real-world applications • general ML expertise across regression, classification, clustering, time-series, Bayesian methods, self-supervised methods, generative models • professional habits around model validation, testing, and tracking • strong communication skills • passion for analytics and product-level impact Key requirements •
