Experteer Overview As Staff Technical Program Manager, you will lead cross-organizational, multi-year initiatives across Grafana’s engineering ecosystem. You will translate strategic goals into actionable programs, coordinating with Engineering, Product, GTM, and external partners. You’ll guide end-to-end delivery for platform and open-source initiatives, serving as the program’s core spokesperson. Your work will focus on risk mitigation, progress visibility, and continuous improvement in collaboration. This role offers the chance to shape Grafana’s observability platform and scale a global, remote-first organization. Compensation / Benefits • Provide cross-organizational leadership translating strategy into actionable programs with timelines and outcomes • Lead end-to-end technical programs spanning Grafana’s platform and open-source ecosystem • Act as the core spokesperson for large-scale programs across all company levels • Document and publish plans, progress reports, and retrospective analyses • Identify and mitigate risks and interdependencies across multi-team initiatives • Facilitate continuous improvement with Engineering and Product Management leaders Tasks • 6+ years in program management or engineering leadership with strong PM skills • Proven track record delivering complex, multi-year programs across multiple teams • Experience managing programs in distributed, remote-first organizations • Strong communication skills across levels of the organization • Ability to work asynchronously with diverse teams • Ability to balance short- and long-term solutions and drive decisions • Experience with observability platforms and monitoring infrastructure, ideally Grafana products • Experience with infrastructure deployment across different cloud providers Key requirements • 100% remote • global culture • restricted stock units (RSUs) • 30 days annual leave • Grafana Shutdown Days • in-person onboarding
