Experteer Overview As a Cable Harness Design Engineer, you drive innovative harness solutions and ensure delivery quality within a multidisciplinary team. You design and refine electrical wiring harnesses, balance LV/HV considerations, and apply automotive standards to optimize vehicle performance. You partner with project managers and delivery teams to stay on schedule and maintain manufacturability. This role blends hands-on design with cross-functional collaboration in a global delivery environment, offering meaningful impact on complex automotive programs. Compensation / Benefits • Design and development of electrical wiring harnesses, including bundle drawings and 2D schematics • Execute the technical plan by evaluating design partners and ensuring timely, high-quality delivery • Electrical harness design for low voltage and high voltage systems • Apply GD&T, automotive standards, and advanced design methods using CATIA, Sabre, Jira • Collaborate with Project Managers to align delivery across teams • Schedule technical deliverables and apply DfM, production drawings, and cross-functional collaboration Tasks • 2–7 years of product development experience as a Design Engineer • Strong proficiency in SABER, Catia V5, PDM system Enovia and deviation handling tools • Ability to implement standards on engineering drawings and interpret production drawings • Experience in design for manufacturing (DFM) and cross-functional teamwork • University degree in mechanical or electrical engineering or related discipline Key requirements • remote work options • flexible work hours • career growth programs • extensive training library with 250,000 courses • education and certifications opportunities
