Introductie

De Volvo truckfabriek in Gent is de grootste vrachtwagenfabriek van de Volvo Group wereldwijd. Elke dag assembleren bijna 3000 collega's hier trucks van topkwaliteit. Zo staan innovatie en continue verbetering standaard op onze agenda, en dat al van dag 1. Wij geloven dan ook steevast in de filosofie van Lean Manufacturing, waarbij aandacht voor kwaliteit, veiligheid en het milieu onze top prioriteit zijn. Je komt terecht in een team van engineers die zowel zelfstandig als in team werken. Samen ondersteunen w elkaar om de klant een kwalitatieve en uitvoerbare oplossing te geven om aan de gewenste truck specificaties te voldoen.

Jouw ideale stage?

Als stagiair binnen ons team introduceren we jou tot de wondere wereld van truck aanpassingen op maat van de klant. Zo krijg je een eigen project toegewezen waarbij je zelf verantwoordelijk bent over de opvolging en uitwerking ervan. Natuurlijk word je hier sterk in begeleid. Daarnaast zullen onze ingenieurs jou ook onderdompelen in hun dagdagelijkse wereld. Jouw taken:

Ondersteunen bij het onderzoeken van klantenvragen qua technische concepten die niet standaard worden aangeboden. Dit naar technische realiseerbaarheid, kostprijs, leadtime & legal compliance. Ondersteunen bij Technisch uitwerken en documenteren van niet-standaard concepten. Een eigen project rond operationele efficiëntie of productontwikkeling. Alsook de mogelijkheid op eigen initiatieven te nemen.

Je volgt momenteel een technische bachelor/ master en dient in kader van je opleiding (vb autotechnologie) een stage te volgen Je hebt een passie voor automotive en wil je technische vrachtwagenkennis vergroten Je gaat zelfstandig te werk en bent nauwkeurig ingesteld Jouw kennis van MS Office is uitgebreid De Engelse en Nederlandse taal heb je volledig onder de knie
