Assignment Description:

We are looking for a skilled and proactive Software Build & Release Manager to join a core software platform organization working with next-generation automotive embedded systems.

What you will work on:

  • Own and manage software configuration and release management for a central ECU platform
  • Define and maintain software versioning schemes, configuration baselines, and release strategies
  • Coordinate integration of Linux, Adaptive AUTOSAR, and Classic AUTOSAR software stacks
  • Drive automation of build, integration, packaging, and release processes using CI/CD pipelines
  • Manage branching, merging, and integration strategies across multiple software domains and suppliers
  • Ensure traceability of software artifacts in accordance with automotive safety and cybersecurity standards
  • Maintain and administer configuration management and build tools (Git, GitLab, Jenkins, Artifactory, etc.)
  • Ensure proper tagging, documentation, and release notes for all software deliveries
  • Facilitate release readiness reviews with development, system, and test teams
  • Troubleshoot and resolve build and integration issues together with cross-functional teams
  • Align release schedules with program milestones and vehicle development timelines

What you bring:

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in software engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or similar
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in software configuration and release management within automotive or embedded systems
  • Strong hands-on experience with Linux, Adaptive AUTOSAR, and Classic AUTOSAR
  • Solid understanding of Git-based workflows, CI/CD pipelines, and version control principles
  • Experience working with tools such as Jenkins, GitLab, Artifactory, Bitbucket (Yocto is a plus)
  • Good understanding of embedded build systems and cross-compilation toolchains
  • Familiarity with ASPICE, ISO 26262, and ISO/SAE 21434 standards
  • Structured, detail-oriented, and analytical working style
  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across international and cross-functional teams
  • Experience working in agile software development environments
