Assignment Description:
We are looking for a Senior Method Engineer / Development Engineer to join our dynamic team.
What you will work on:
- Define and develop safe, efficient, and ergonomic working methods for energy storage and charging systems in battery-electric heavy vehicles
- Develop troubleshooting and repair methods for components, articles, and functions within high-voltage systems, including traction batteries and high-voltage cabling
- Specify how repairs and maintenance should be executed and ensure requirements are met during concept development
- Maintain and update the special tools database and define requirements for service-friendly designs
- Optimize workshop processes to achieve high quality, minimal downtime, and cost-effective solutions
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to implement workshop-adapted solutions
- Utilize digital analysis and development tools such as CATIA, DELMIA, and IPS where applicable
What you bring:
- Fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written
- Strong technical interest and understanding of vehicle systems
- Experience with high-voltage systems in automotive applications is an advantage
- Background in heavy vehicles and workshop or service environments is beneficial
- Knowledge of customer product structures and overall product understanding is a plus
- Experience using digital analysis and development tools such as CATIA, DELMIA, or IPS
- Structured, proactive, and solution-oriented approach with strong collaboration skills
