Senior Mechanical Design Engineer – 14228

Assignment Description:

We are looking for a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer – Chassis and Cab Development to join our dynamic team.

What you will work on:

• Design and develop chassis and cab components within Ford’s product development environment.
• Work with PDM systems such as Enovia, OAS, and FRAS to manage and document design data.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional engineering teams to ensure design accuracy and alignment with project requirements.
• Support development reviews, design updates, and technical documentation throughout the product lifecycle.
• Ensure compliance with design standards, manufacturing feasibility, and quality requirements.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the chassis and cab development process.

What you bring:

• Proven experience in chassis and cab design, preferably within the automotive industry.
• Strong proficiency with PDM systems such as Enovia, OAS, and FRAS.
• Solid understanding of product development processes and design documentation workflows.
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
• Attention to detail, problem-solving mindset, and ability to manage multiple design tasks.
• Fluent in both Swedish and English, written and spoken.
