Senior Mainframe Systems Engineer – 15515

Assignment Description: We are looking for a Senior Mainframe Developer to support and modernize legacy order and logistics systems as part of an ongoing digital transformation journey

What you will work on:

• Manage, maintain, and optimize mainframe systems to ensure stability and performance
• Develop and support legacy mainframe applications used in order and logistics domains
• Contribute to modernization initiatives integrating mainframe systems with modern IT platforms
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and influence solution design
• Analyze application performance and drive improvements and optimizations
• Ensure compliance with coding standards, security guidelines, and best practices
• Share knowledge, mentor colleagues, and contribute to mainframe best practices within the team

What you bring:

• Strong experience working with mainframe technologies and legacy systems
• Proficiency in one or more mainframe languages/tools such as COBOL, JCL, CICS, DB2, IMS, MQ, VSAM, PL/I, or Assembler
• Experience in maintaining and modernizing legacy mainframe environments
• Solid understanding of mainframe databases and data management systems
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Good communication skills and a proactive, team-oriented mindset
