Assignment Overview

We are looking for a Senior IT Project Manager to support a client in the banking and finance sector.

What You Will Work On

• Leading complex IT development projects involving new backend systems and data platform integration
• Coordinating multiple parallel work streams across development, data, and infrastructure teams
• Managing collaboration between internal teams, external suppliers, and senior stakeholders
• Driving project planning, execution, and delivery within timelines and defined objectives
• Supporting procurement processes and coordination with external vendors or service providers
• Ensuring that project outcomes align with the organization’s data platform and system strategy
• Facilitating communication and progress tracking across project teams and leadership groups
• Managing dependencies and risks in complex environments with multiple stakeholders
• Contributing to broader program initiatives and supporting additional projects within the transformation program

What You Bring

• Several years of experience in IT project management within software development environments
• Experience working in the banking or financial services sector
• Proven track record of leading large and complex projects with multiple sub-projects or work streams
• Experience working with senior executives and managing stakeholder communication at leadership level
• Experience managing procurement processes for external vendors or service providers
• Understanding of data platform development such as data warehouses or data lakes
• Knowledge of data management concepts and modern data platform architectures
• Strong leadership capabilities with the ability to coordinate diverse teams and stakeholders
• Structured, analytical approach to project planning and execution
• Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously in complex environments
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with a solution-oriented mindset
