Assignment Description

We are looking for a Senior Data Engineer

What You Will Work On

• Design, build, and maintain scalable and reliable data pipelines
• Develop and manage critical datasets for analytics, reporting, and product features
• Improve performance, scalability, and reliability of the data platform
• Establish and promote best practices for data engineering and analytics engineering
• Collaborate with Data Scientists and Product teams to define data requirements
• Translate business needs into robust data models and data assets
• Architect backend systems for large-scale data ingestion, transformation, and distribution
• Mentor junior Data Engineers and support team development
• Drive improvements in code quality, testing, and maintainability
• Contribute to analytics tools and metrics/reporting frameworks

What You Bring

• Extensive hands-on experience deg and building scalable, reliable, and optimized data pipelines
• Strong experience with Scala, SQL, dbt, and GCP services
• Deep understanding of cloud-based data infrastructure and architecture
• Experience building and scaling backend systems handling large data volumes
• Ability to translate complex business requirements into robust data solutions
• Experience mentoring junior engineers and contributing to team growth
• Strong focus on code quality, testing, and maintainability
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to navigate complex environments
• Strong communication and stakeholder collaboration skills
• Experience working in cross-functional, product-driven environments
