Assignment Overview

We are looking for a Principal Python Developer

What you will work on

• Deg and developing cloud-based vehicle diagnostics and aftermarket solutions using Python
• Developing key system features within the workshop systems platform
• Developing integrations with external systems
• Troubleshooting, debugging, and upgrading existing systems
• Conducting code reviews and maintaining development standards
• Writing clean, maintainable, and efficient code with proper testing and documentation
• Supporting work related to requirements, system design, and analysis
• Mentoring developers and promoting knowledge sharing and best practices within the team
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality and timely deliveries

What you bring

• Principal-level experience in Python development (10–15 years)
• Experience working with the Azure platform, including services such as:

Azure Functions Cosmos DB Azure DevOps Service Bus

• Understanding of RBAC and security configurations
• Experience working with Git version control systems, including branching and pull requests
• Experience working with REST APIs
• Experience within vehicle diagnostics systems (5+ years)
• Experience working in automotive OEM environments (5+ years)
• Previous experience working with the Lynk & Co workshop system portfolio is considered an advantage
