Assignment Overview

We are looking for an experienced Piping Design Engineer

What you will work on

• Collaborating with engineering teams within the ESS project environment
• Managing and controlling project documentation related to piping systems
• Ensuring correct transfer of QC documentation into CHESS and alignment with EAM systems
• Participating in coordination and integration meetings across project teams
• Producing reports and tracking the status of engineering and documentation activities
• Ensuring installation documentation meets required process and functional standards
• Supporting communication between design, installation, and manufacturing teams
• Contributing to the completion of piping project phases and ensuring proper interface management

What you bring

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar technical education
• Minimum 5 years of experience in piping design and engineering
• Strong understanding of complete piping project lifecycle and phases
• Good knowledge of piping systems and related technical documentation
• Experience collaborating between detailed design and installation/manufacturing teams
• Understanding of quality processes and final documentation requirements
• Knowledge of relevant standards and norms in process and mechanical engineering, especially PED
• Experience from nuclear piping or oil & gas engineering projects is considered an advantage
• Strong collaboration and communication skills for cross-team coordination
• Ability to manage documentation accuracy and ensure alignment across engineering systems
