Mechanical Design Engineer – 15547

Assignment Description:

We are looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer to join a high‑tech energy sector team.

What you will work on:

• Design and develop large metal structures, welded assemblies, and machined components
• Create 3D models and technical documentation using SOLIDWORKS
• Work with PLM systems (e.g., Aras) to manage engineering data
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure structural integrity and manufacturability
• Support design reviews, technical investigations, and continuous improvement of design practices
• Solve complex engineering challenges in a safety-critical environment

What you bring:

• Proven experience in mechanical design for heavy industry, process industry, or large-structure projects
• Strong proficiency in SOLIDWORKS
• Experience with welded structures, machined parts, and complex assemblies
• Knowledge of engineering standards and design-for-manufacturing principles
• Medior to Senior-level experience
• Experience with Aras PLM is advantageous
• Positive, structured, and solution-oriented team player
• Good communication skills with multidisciplinary teams
• Fluent in English; Swedish is preferable
• Willingness to work on-site in central Stockholm
