Mechanical Design Engineer – 15401

Assignment Description: We are looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer to join our team and work with design and product support activities for advanced, high-technology systems.

What you will work on:

• Update and create technical drawings and CAD models based on approved change requests
• Develop and modify high-quality 3D models and 2D drawings
• Drive engineering change processes from initiation to completion together with the team
• Document and motivate design changes in relevant systems and ensure compliance with internal processes
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate and consistent technical information
• Work with geometry definition, tolerancing, and dimensioning of complex components
• Contribute to continuous improvement of design solutions with focus on quality, safety, and reliability

What you bring:

• Engineering degree in Mechanical Engineering, Product Development, or equivalent experience
• Minimum 2+ years of experience as a mechanical design engineer
• Hands-on experience working in CAD environments, preferably Siemens NX
• Experience working with PLM systems such as Teamcenter
• Good understanding of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T)
• Structured, analytical, and detail-oriented working style
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across disciplines
• Willingness to learn, take initiative, and contribute to team success
