Lead Embedded Software Engineer – 15257

Assignment Description:

We are looking for a Lead Embedded Software Engineer who combines technical leadership with hands-on embedded development. In this role, you will take responsibility for guiding the development team while actively contributing to the design and implementation of embedded software solutions.

What you will work on:

• Take team lead and product ownership responsibility while remaining hands-on in development
• Design, develop, and maintain embedded software solutions using C/C++
• Work with MCUs, including bare-metal and RTOS-based systems
• Develop and maintain solutions based on Yocto Embedded Linux
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality and scalable embedded solutions
• Support architectural decisions and ensure best practices in embedded software development
• Contribute to system integration and overall product quality

What you bring:

• 5+ years of professional experience in embedded software development
• Strong hands-on expertise in C/C++
• Experience working with MCUs, bare-metal systems, and/or RTOS environments
• Solid experience with Yocto Embedded Linux
• Ability to combine technical leadership with active development responsibilities
• Knowledge of networking concepts (e.g., Ethernet, network topology)
• Understanding of cyber security, preferably related to IoT or connected devices
• Experience with backend systems or setting up servers using AWS or similar cloud platforms is a plus
• Experience related to electric vehicle charging systems is considered an additional advantage
