Jira Platform Configuration Specialist – 15562

Assignment Description:

We are looking for a Jira Configuration Specialist to design, configure, and optimize Jira setups that support different teams’ ways of working. You will work closely with stakeholders and deployment teams to ensure scalable, well-structured Jira configurations and smooth releases to production.

What you will work on:

• Configure and maintain Jira workflows, screens, field schemes, and automations
• Build and test templates in Jira sandbox environments
• Translate ways-of-working (WoW) requirements into technical Jira designs
• Support multiple Jira instances and shared collaboration layers
• Ensure configurations follow best practices and platform limitations
• Collaborate with deployment teams to plan and execute production releases
• Support continuous improvement of Jira platform usability and structure

What you bring:

• Strong experience in Jira administration and configuration
• Hands-on experience with workflows, schemes, screens, and automation rules
• Ability to prototype and iterate solutions with business stakeholders
• Good understanding of multi-instance Jira environments and shared platforms
• Strong analytical skills to convert process needs into technical solutions
• Experience working with release and deployment processes
• Good communication and collaboration skills
