Assignment Overview
We are looking for a skilled FPGA & ASIC Developer
What You Will Work On
- Deg and implementing digital circuits using Verilog, SystemVerilog, or VHDL for FPGA and ASIC platforms
- Performing RTL development, simulation, and functional verification of digital modules
- Developing testbenches and conducting FPGA prototyping to validate hardware designs
- Collaborating with hardware and software teams to integrate FPGA/ASIC solutions into system architectures
- Optimizing digital designs for performance, power efficiency, and silicon area utilization
- Supporting synthesis, static timing analysis, and place-and-route processes for ASIC development
- Debugging and troubleshooting hardware issues during lab validation and production testing
- Creating and maintaining technical documentation including design specifications, verification plans, and test reports
- Evaluating new FPGA and ASIC technologies and contributing to improvements in design methodologies
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field
- Strong proficiency in HDL languages such as Verilog, SystemVerilog, or VHDL
- Hands-on experience with FPGA platforms such as Xilinx or Intel/Altera development boards
- Knowledge of ASIC design flow including synthesis, static timing analysis, and design-for-test (DFT)
- Experience with simulation and verification tools such as ModelSim, Questa, or Synopsys VCS
- Solid understanding of digital design concepts including FSM design, pipelining, clock domain crossing, and memory architectures
- Familiarity with high-speed interfaces such as PCIe, DDR, or Ethernet is beneficial
- Experience with SystemVerilog and UVM-based verification methodologies is considered a plus
- Exposure to low-power or high-performance ASIC design techniques is advantageous
- Knowledge of embedded systems and hardware/software co-design
- Experience with scripting languages such as Python or TCL for automation is beneficial
- Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional engineering teams
- Swedish or EU citizenship required
