Engineering Team Lead – Mechanical Design – 15399

Assignment Description: We are looking for an experienced Engineering Team Lead to join our team and take responsibility for leading mechanical design activities for complex, safety-critical products.

What you will work on:

• Lead, plan, and drive the work of a mechanical design team to deliver according to time, quality, and cost targets
• Break down and analyze technical requirements to achieve balanced solutions considering performance, manufacturability, and cost
• Coordinate and secure the right resources to successfully execute design assignments
• Plan, document, and support verification and certification activities
• Lead and participate in technical design reviews, both internally and externally
• Drive design changes, repair solutions, and development of technical documentation and manuals
• Handle deviations and non-conformities from manufacturing, suppliers, and products in service
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, customers, and suppliers
• Contribute actively to department goals, strategy, and continuous improvement initiatives

What you bring:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent professional experience
• Proven experience in team leadership and/or project leadership roles
• Strong background in mechanical design and product development
• Ability to take ownership and lead teams toward common goals
• Excellent communication skills in English, both written and spoken
• Strong collaboration skills and the ability to build effective working relationships
• Structured, responsible, and proactive leadership approach
