Electrical Subject Matter Expert – 16737 – Sweden (Södertälje or Göteborg)

Assignment Overview

We are looking for an experienced Electrical Subject Matter Expert (SME)

What you will work on

• Engaging with key stakeholders to ensure project requirements are properly reflected in the Concept Design (CD)
• Preparing Project Technical Requirements Specifications defining system performance requirements and applicable standards
• Ensuring all relevant technical specifications are delivered to the design contractor
• Defining and agreeing on required design deliverables for all design phases (Concept Design, Basic Design, Detailed Design)
• Reviewing contractor responses to technical requirements and verifying compliance
• Participating in project meetings and providing technical input
• Supporting procurement strategy for technical work packages, including contractor selection and technical scope definition
• Producing Design Assurance Reports to ensure ongoing technical alignment
• Identifying value engineering opportunities to improve project efficiency and cost
• Ensuring compliance with SHE (Safety, Health & Environment) and GMP requirements in design deliverables
• Participating in SHE risk assessments and ensuring proper risk mitigation strategies
• Providing technical guidance to work package teams
• Ensuring technical solutions align with customer expectations, cost, and project schedule
• Supporting project planning activities
• Reviewing mechanical packages from an electrical perspective
• Reviewing BMS (Building Management System) operational descriptions from an electrical viewpoint
• Reviewing EMS (Energy Management System) URS documentation from an electrical perspective
• Supporting development of system redundancy strategies and maintenance philosophy
• Reviewing and contributing to sustainability checklists
• Responding to construction queries when design contractors cannot provide sufficient answers

What you bring

• Extensive experience working as an Electrical SME or Senior Electrical Engineer
• Strong experience working in large international engineering projects
• Background in electrical power systems and industrial infrastructure
• Experience working with design contractors and multidisciplinary engineering teams
• Knowledge of technical requirement specifications and design assurance processes
• Strong understanding of SHE and GMP compliance requirements
• Experience participating in engineering procurement and contractor selection
• Ability to review complex engineering documentation and technical deliverables
• Experience in pharmaceutical or highly regulated industries is highly preferred
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to work on-site with project teams and collaborate across engineering disciplines
