Cloud Engineer – Kubernetes / GCP Platform – 16895

Assignment Description: We are looking for a Cloud Engineer

What You Will Work On:

• Develop and enhance Kubernetes-based platform/runtime environments
• Work with GCP (GKE) and on-prem hybrid cloud environments
• Implement and manage API gateways, reverse proxies, and traffic routing
• Design and manage identity, authentication, and secure access solutions
• Ensure platform stability, scalability, and security
• Support developers and engineers through mentoring and technical guidance
• Participate in design and architecture discussions
• Contribute to infrastructure automation and platform standardization

What You Bring:

• 3+ years of hands-on experience in GCP (production environments)
• Strong experience with Kubernetes in production (architecture, networking, security)
• Experience building or evolving Kubernetes platforms/runtime environments
• Experience with IAM and secure access control (least privilege, service accounts)
• Experience with API gateways or reverse proxies in production
• Experience with container security (mTLS, certificate management)
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) in CI/CD pipelines
• Experience supporting teams in a senior/technical leadership role
• Relevant academic background or equivalent practical experience
• Strong communication skills in Swedish and English
