Assignment Overview

We are looking for a CAE Engineer

What you will work on

• Perform finite element analysis (FEA) for a wide variety of load cases
• Conduct safety, durability, NVH, and optimization analysis in LS-Dyna, Abaqus, and Nastran
• Support the development of complete doors and glass during all industrialization phases
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to recommend product solutions fulfilling safety, durability, NVH, corrosion, and weight requirements
• Lead collaborative efforts between Side & Roof and stakeholders, including meetings, documenting results, and ensuring progress
• Proactively identify areas where CAE simulations can improve department processes and solutions
• Support concept evaluations and advanced engineering studies

What you bring

• M.Sc. or B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or similar
• Strong foundation in structural mechanics and CAE simulations
• Experience as a simulation analyst in safety, durability, or NVH
• Hands-on experience with LS-Dyna, Abaqus, or Nastran
• Knowledge of pre- and post-processing tools such as Ansa or Meta
• Experience with FE simulations of metals, plastics, and glass (meritorious)
• Quick learner with strong problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and proactively while collaborating effectively with teams
• Strong communication and documentation skills
