Automotive Electrical Harness Design Engineer – 15563

Assignment Description:

We are looking for an Automotive Electrical Harness Design Engineer

What you will work on:

• Design, review, and update electrical wiring harnesses for automotive and heavy-duty vehicles
• Create and review circuit diagrams, wiring harness layouts, cable routing, and installation drawings in CATIA V5 and Saber
• Support and coach other harness designers in technical design work
• Investigate and respond to problem reports, deviations, and change requests
• Troubleshoot electrical issues identified on vehicles
• Drive and support field quality issues until resolution
• Review designs in 3DEXPERIENCE and manage engineering changes using OAS and ECO processes
• Work closely with cross-functional engineering and production teams

What you bring:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or related field
• Strong background in automotive electrical systems and vehicle development
• Minimum 6 years of experience in the automotive or heavy-duty vehicle industry
• Hands-on experience with vehicle electrical systems and EMC-related work
• Experience working with defense or special vehicle electrical systems is an advantage
• Strong skills in CATIA V5, Saber, and 3DEXPERIENCE for harness design and review
• Experience with engineering change management and ECO processes
• Ability to manage high workload and prioritize tasks effectively
• Fluent in English and basic Swedish, with willingness to improve Swedish skills
