A strong user perspective is key to achieving this. As Function Owner, you represent the voice of the user throughout the development of the functions, from vision to implemented solution. The position is part of the Alarm, Tailgate, Lids, Glass Roof & External Load Functions group.You will take end to end responsibility for the functions across the full product lifecycle, from concept and requirements to industrialization and field performance. Working cross functionally with engineering teams, suppliers, quality, manufacturing, and product management, you will help deliver a secure, robust, and customer focused alarm system that meets regulatory, technical, and user expectations. The role is strategic, yet highly operational.Key Responsibilities•Own the functions from concept through production and aftermarket•Drive roadmaps and continuous improvement•Define and maintain functional and non functional requirements together with the System Designer•Act as the primary interface towards stakeholders and suppliers•Ensure realization, verification, and validation of the function•Manage interfaces with related vehicle functions•Secure legal and regulatory compliance across global markets•Drive root cause analysis, follow-ups and corrective actions for quality issuesRequired Qualifications- You have experience from Volvo Cars and its way of working, with solid background in function development, requirement management, and driving development activities.- You are well organized and a natural leader with strong project management, communication, and stakeholder management skills. - You take ownership, speak up, and have a proactive, hands on mindset. You are stress resilient and thrive in a cross functional environment. - You are fluent in English; Swedish is a merit.- B-driver’s licenseThis position is a parental replacement and is an on site assignment in Torslanda and starts on June 1st.PLEASE NOTE!
