Electrical Project Engineer

For our client we are looking for an Electrical Project Engineer responsible for the design of protection systems and switchgear solutions, as well as working in a customer-facing role. Requirements and Competencies · Knowledge of medium- and high-voltage systems · Experience in the design of protection systems, including protection relays and switchgear · Distribution network expertise from a utility company, particularly on the high-voltage side· Fluent in Finnish & English Soft Skills · Ability to work effectively in a customer-facing role · Experience in project work and ability to work independently Seniority Level · Mid to Senior levelProject duration: Initially until 31 Dec 2026. The customer project is likely to continue at least until the end of 2027Location: Vaasa, Helsinki or Tampere (Vaasa preferred)Hybrid work: 1–2 days per week at the office if based in Vaasa. If working from elsewhere, more remote work is possible. Initial onboarding requires visits to VaasaAllocation: 37.5 hours per weekLanguage: Fluent English and Finnish required; Swedish is a plus
