Category Manager (Supply Chain)

About the role:We are currently looking for an experienced Category Manager for an exciting consulting assignment with one of our clients within the industrial sector. This role involves close collaboration with the business and active support in ongoing production-related investments, including work connected to a new factory setup.Key responsibilities:In this role, you will:Develop, plan, and implement sourcing strategies within assigned categoriesSupport the business in procurement activities related to production investmentsEnsure optimization of cost, quality, delivery performance, and supplier reliabilityWork closely with production and cross-functional teamsDrive continuous improvement initiatives within sourcing and supplier managementQualificationsWe are looking for someone who has:Several years of experience in strategic sourcing or supply chain managementExperience working close to production and/or investment projectsStrong negotiation skills and a solid business mindsetFluency in both Swedish and English (mandatory)Ability to work independently in a structured mannerMeritorious:Experience from manufacturing or technical industriesExperience supporting factory setup or large-scale investment projectsPersonal traitsTo succeed in this role, you are:Business-driven and solution-orientedCommunicative and collaborativeFlexible and comfortable in a dynamic environmentHands-on with a proactive mindsetAssigment Details: Start: 2026-04-20End: 2026-10-31Plats: VästeråsApplicationSelection is ongoing, so please submit your application as soon as possible.
