We bridge clients and partners & professionals throughout the talent supply chain, for the benefit of individuals, organizations and society.For our Client from banking industry we are looking for Transition Manager (Finance Data Centre Migration) - 3 days at the officeWe are looking for an experienced Transition Manager to support a large‑scale Data Centre migration programme within Nordea Finance. The programme involves migrating multiple applications from a legacy data centre environment to target hosting platforms within a regulated financial services context.The Transition Manager will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and drivig complex transition and cutover activities across several parallel application migrations. The role is execution‑focused and complements the Programme Manager by taking ownership of day‑to‑day transition management, operational readiness, and cross‑stakeholder coordination. Full domain knowledge and support will come from the Programme manager.This role requires a hands‑on senior project manager with strong experience in financial sector IT transitions, able to work in complex, multi‑vendor environments with high regulatory and operational requirements. Key Responsibilities:Plan and drive end‑to‑end transition and cutover activities for multiple application migrationsCoordinate technical, operational, and business stakeholders across Nordea Finance, internal technology teams, and external suppliersEnsure readiness for production cutovers, including dependencies, risks, mitigations, and rollback planningManage transition plans, cutover schedules, and execution runbooks at application levelTrack and actively manage risks, issues, and interdependencies related to migration executionSupport alignment between programme governance and hands‑on delivery activitiesEnsure transitions are executed in line with financial‑sector controls, compliance, and operational stability expectationsMust-haves:Proven experience as a senior Project Manager or Transition Manager in complex IT transition or migration programmesStrong background in the financial services sector (banking, finance, insurance, or similarly regulated environments)Demonstrated experience planning and executing datamigrations, platform transitions, or large‑scale infrastructure changesHands‑on experience with cutover planning, execution, and production readinessAbility to manage multiple parallel workstreams with tight timelines and high stakeholder complexityStrong stakeholder management skills across business, technology, and vendor organizationsStructured, methodical approach to risk, dependency, and issue managementExcellent communication skills, both written and verbal, in an international environmentAbility to work independently and take ownership in a high‑pressure delivery phaseFluency in English (spoken and written)Nice-to-haves:Previous experience working at or with NordeaExperience in Nordic or large European banking environmentsFamiliarity with application migrations to cloud or modernized hosting platformsExperience working in multi‑vendor or outsourced delivery modelsUnderstanding of IT governance, compliance, and control requirements in regulated environmentsExperience working in programmes with strong dependency on architecture, security, and infrastructure teamsWe offer:B2B agreementTransparent working conditions with both Ework and the clientCurrent support during our cooperationPossibility to work in an international environmentCollaborative environment in Swedish organizational culturePrivate medical careLife insuranceMultisportTeambuilding events
