For our client Husqvarna we are looking for a Test & Verification Engineer.The assignmentHusqvarna Construction in Jonsered is looking for a Test & Verification Engineer consultant to support the product group for Power Cutters. You will join the Test and Verification team of 18 competent and driven engineers. The team investigates and evaluates both new concepts and products in series production, conducting testing where it adds the most value—on test rigs, in laboratory environments, and in dedicated outdoor test area. About the role In this assignment, you will primarily work with endurance testing of power cutters, including test setup, rebuilding, execution, and evaluation. You will work in close collaboration with colleagues and the R&D organization in Jonsered. The role is performed in a flexible working setup, offering opportunities to broaden your competence by contributing to testing activities in other product areas or product groups, while maintaining your main responsibility within the Power Cutter area. Key responsibilitiesPlan, perform, and assess product quality at different stages of the product development lifecycleProvide an objective and transparent view of product status, including remaining risks and clear recommendations for next stepsMaintain and take responsibility for the endurance testing facilities, including equipment, setups, and overall test environment.TasksMain tasksAnalyze specifications and product architecture to break down requirements for test planning in accordance with the V modelPerform tests, log results, and ensure accurate documentation and reportingAnalyze test results and provide clear, fact based recommendationsImprove or develop test codes to support continuous improvement of testingActively participate in risk assessments and planning activitiesContinuously develop your competence and proactively seek support when neededMaintain and contribute to good order, structure, and cleanliness in laboratory environmentsRequired skillsYou have a background / genuine interest in the followingBachelor of Science (Mechanical or Electronic)You are fluent in both Swedish and English, both written and spokenGood knowledge of physical aspects and being able to see connections between cause and effect.Sees the systems from the end user perspective and has good ability and curiosity to understand how the systems are used.Meritorious Experience with gasoline engines and/or PLC systemsExperience in construction and/or lab workPersonal skills and attributesWe believe you are a person who:Is mechanically skilled and enjoys working hands-on with tests and equipment combined with analyzing data and understanding the underlying causes of test outcomes.Is motivated by problem solving and taking on new challenges.Is structured and able to work independently, while contributing effectively in cross functional teamsHas strong communication skills and can clearly present test results, risks, and recommendations to different stakeholdersDemonstrates a proactive and solution oriented mindset, with the ability to take ownership of assigned tasksIs curious, motivated to learn, and driven to improve ways of working and increase efficiency Start Date of the Assignment: 2026-04-15Duration of the Assignment: 2026-12-31Location: JonseredEstimated Workload: 100%Division: Husqvarna Construction DivisionWorking Language: Swedish & EnglishCompetence level: 2
