Software Engineer

We are now looking for a Software Engineer on the behalf of our client, Volvo Cars. Let's introduce ourselves:You will join ‘SWEP Software Factory’ department within the broad Volvo Cars Engineering organization. We are responsible for Test framework development, Test rigs, CI/CD and Analytics.You will be working in development and maintenance of software test frameworks, software test tools and test automation in CI/CD environments.The location is Lund, Sweden.Who You Are:You are an experienced software engineer with a curious approach to new challenges and a customer oriented mindset. Solid communication skills, both in written form and in face-to-face meetings are important skills you should possess.Requirements:You have a Bachelor or Master degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent. You are self-going with at least 10 years of experience in software development and have a quality-oriented mindset.Skills you should have:More than 10 years exp. in Test framework development and Test automation in CI/CDSeveral years of development experience in Python, PyTestZuul, JenkinsSnok (VCC test tool - mock and test application services) or similarRemotive Labs ECU mocking or similarWriting tests with ECU emulationGood in Technical documentationThe skills and experience to understand and propose test mechanisms about medium/large scale software systemsStrong communication, multitasking, problem-solving, and planning skillsExcellent networker and cross-functional team player with a can-do mindsetFluency in spoken and written EnglishMeritorious:Knowledge of AUTOSAR, ASPICE, V-Model, ISO 26262, CAN/LIN (automotive)Experience in Bazel, YAMLExperience within automotive industry and from working in an international environmentStart: 2026-04-27End: 2027-04-26Location: Lundworkload: 100%We will present candidates on an ongoing basis.
