To our client we are now seeking a Agile CoachAssignment DescriptionSandvik Group IT is on an agile journey. Over the past years, we have transitioned our product teams into agile ways of working and continue to strengthen and mature our practices, guided by Group IT’s maturity stairs model. In this assignment you will be supporting a Product Area in establishing and operationalizing product strategies, maturing agile ways of working, and strengthening product management capabilities.To support this continued development, IT for Group Functions is seeking an Agile Coach who will work closely with the Product Area Leadership Team (PALT), the Agile Center of Excellence, and the product teams. The Agile Coach will drive and support product strategy development, coach teams in agile practices, facilitate key meetings, and help ensure that the Product Area operates effectively and consistently in alignment with Group IT’s frameworks and goals.We also have a newly onboarded PA Coach who has recently started within IT for Group Functions. As part of this assignment, you will provide guidance, mentoring, and practical support to support the upskilling and confident development into the role.This role combines strategic responsibility with hands on coaching and facilitation. The person should be skilled at working both at leadership level and directly with product teams to ensure higher maturity and improved delivery outcomes.Assignment ResponsibilitiesProduct StrategyDrive and support the development of product strategies for each team within the Product Area.Ensure alignment with Group IT’s maturity model and strategic objectives.PALT SupportOrganize and host Product Area Leadership Teams agile meetings and manage the backlog.Support the Product Area Leadership Teams with Roadmap Fusion activities, including preparation, coordination, and follow up.Propose future needs, improvements, and organizational recommendations for the Product Area.Coaching & Team SupportCoach leaders and teams within IT for Group Functions in agile ways of working.Actively support the Product Teams in their daily agile work, including:
- Backlog structure and refinement
- Prioritization
- Capacity planning
- Clarifying roles, responsibilities, and collaboration modelsProvide mentoring and practical guidance to the newly appointed PA Coach within IT for Group Functions to support upskilling and continued role development.Communities & Cross Team CollaborationSupport (and potentially lead) the Agile Community of Practice within IT for Group Functions.Support (and potentially lead) Product Sync sessions to ensure alignment and collaboration across teams.Skills Requirements5–10 years of experience as an agile coach or similar role.Excellent understanding of agile frameworks and principles, and preferably also product management practices.Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a professional approach.Excellent listening skills and the ability to coach both leaders and teams.Practical, hands on approach in providing guidance, support, and concrete recommendations.Experience facilitating workshops, kick offs, and trainings.Strong documentation skills and the ability to develop processes and training materials.Team oriented mindset combined with strong personal drive and a solution creating attitude.Ability to plan, structure, and lead work independently.
