For our client Tetra Pak we are now looking for a Expert Mechanical DesignerDescription: A Expert Mechanical Engineer leads the development of advanced mechanical solutions across the full lifecycle of processing equipment—from early conceptual design and R&D through detailed engineering, manufacturing support, installation, and final commissioning. This role drives the mechanical architecture of processing systems, ensuring designs meet performance, hygienic, and reliability standards while optimizing manufacturability, welding, and assembly processes. The engineer provides expert guidance in 3D CAD (Inventor), conducts complex calculations and specifications for mechanical equipment, and evaluates theoretical and practical design concepts through rigorous testing, all with high proficiency within LFS equipment and working processes. A key part of the role is supporting field activities, including troubleshooting during installation or production, and ensuring that mechanical designs integrate seamlessly with broader engineering disciplines. As a senior contributor, the engineer upholds high-quality standards, works in a structured and proactive manner, adapts quickly to change, and serves as a technical mentor and role model within the engineering organization.Start: 2026-04-01 End: 2026-12-31 Location: LundDuration: Part-timeOn-boarding info: A drug test needs to be performed before assignment startsPlease note!
