Site Supervisor (Service Engineer)

We are seeking a Service Engineer (Site Supervisor) for our client. Description: As a Service Engineer / Site Supervisor, you will be responsible for supervising maintenance activities for electric propulsion units. You will execute service work according to established work instructions and in accordance with company standard processes, quality standards, and safety guidelines. You will work closely with customers and internal teams, acting as a technical point of contact while ensuring high-quality service delivery and customer satisfaction. The position involves approximately 150 days of mostly international travel, as you will be providing hands-on assistance at customer sites. Your responsibilities: · Performing and supervising mechanical service tasks · Mechanical supervision and execution of maintenance activities, installation, testing and commissioning of the systems in cooperation with the customer · Consulting with and advising customers on the best service solutions in accordance with standard processes, procedures and safety guidelines · Creating and maintaining strong relationships with customers, appreciating their needs, and providing specialist assistance and solutions · Identifying opportunities to develop new service applications, equipment and methods Your background: · B.Sc. degree in mechanical engineering · You seek solutions actively and work well both independently and as a part of a team. Interaction with both the customer and the team is an important part of this job, so you have good communication skills · Good English skills are mandatory in this position, other language skills are an advantage Allocation: 100%Assignment start date: as soon as a suitable candidate is identifiedAssignment end date: No end date, we will start with one year contractLocation: Turku, Finland (Candidate can also be from Helsinki region / near Turku, but they must be able to commute regularly to Turku)Travel: The position involves approximately 150 days of mostly international travel, as you will be providing hands-on assistance at customer sites.
