• Database Management Solutions This position focuses exclusively on operational activities including monitoring, support, troubleshooting and deployment operations.Role Overview:We are seeking a skilled, hands-on IT Operations Specialist to join our Default Management technology team, focusing on the operational excellence, reliability and performance of our Oracle Database and ETL solutions. This is a senior/expert-level position within a DevOps framework, dedicated to operational activities. Key ResponsibilitiesTake full, hands-on ownership from business delivery readiness to production run, ensuring operational excellence and efficiency.Provide daily, hands-on operational support, including monitoring, troubleshooting, problem management and root cause analysis. Collaboration with cross-functional teams, including developers, analysts and business stakeholdersDriving clear, timely communication with all relevant parties regarding incidents, resolutions and ongoing operational matters.Detailed description of work task XXXX XXXX carried outOperational Support & MonitoringAccept, analyze, and resolve support tickets for Oracle DB and ETL solutionMonitor database and ETL job performance, system health and business process flowsConduct proactive system health checks and preventive maintenanceManage incident response and coordinate with stakeholders during critical issuesProblem Management & AnalysisTroubleshoot complex issues in pre-production and production environments, including parallel production environments.Perform valuable root cause analysis as part of structured problem managementAnalyse Oracle logs, ETL job logs and system alerts using monitoring toolsDocument solutions and maintain a knowledge base for recurring issuesRelease & Deployment OperationsExecute database and ETL deployments following ITIL processesCoordinate release activities across multiple environments (Pre-Prod, Production)Manage deployment schedules and communicate with business stakeholdersPerform post-deployment verification and rollback procedures when necessaryRequirementsITIL Foundation certification5+ years of hands-on experience in Oracle DB and ETL operations and support, including proficiency in writing and optimizing database queries.Strong knowledge of Oracle architecture, performance and database administrationExperience with Linux infrastructure and environment management, and familiarity with DevOps tooling such as Jenkins, Git and database change management tools (Liquibase, Flyway etc).Solid programming skills in languages such as Python, Java or C#Experience with monitoring tools and alerting systems (e.g. Splunk)Nice-to-have Qualifications:Experience in financial services or banking applicationsLeveraging AI capabilities such as Github Copilot to streamline and improve operational workflowsStart date: 20/03/2026End date: 20/06/2026Hybrid work model: 2 days in the officeLocation: Taastrup, Denmark For the duration of this assignment Ework Services (0,9%) will be deducted from the total amount invoiced.We offer candidates continuously.
